Go Between Bridge (GBB) Toll Credit Scheme

To help alleviate the construction impacts associated with major projects in the area, Council is investing in a toll credit initiative on Brisbane’s Go Between Bridge for local residents.

Residents and tenants of postcode 4101 (suburbs include South Brisbane, Highgate Hill and West End) are able to apply for a Linkt tolling credit on the Go Between Bridge.

The toll relief initiative will be available for eligible applicants over calendar years 2021 to 2024.

Transurban will implement the credit and details captured in this application will be shared with Transurban (Linkt) for the sole purpose of processing the application.

To be eligible you must be able to provide:

  • for owner occupiers - a Brisbane City Council rates notice
  • for residential tenants - the first two pages of residential tenancy agreement (lease agreement) and have atleast 6 months remaining on your tenancy
  • for residential tenants whose name is not on the tenancy agreement - the first two pages of residential tenancy agreement and
    • a statement from head tenant verifying that the applicant lives at the stated address, and have atleast 6 months remaining on your tenancy, and
    • a current utility bill (e.g. gas, electricity, telephone), and
    • driver's licence showing current residential address
  • for residential tenants without a formal tenancy agreement – have atleast 6 months remaining on your tenancy along with a letter from the property owner stating that the applicant lives at the stated address, including the length of tenancy, and
    • a current utility bill (e.g. gas, electricity, telephone), and
    • driver's licence showing current residential address
  • your latest Linkt account statement (must include: account number, name or address and vehicle registration number)
  • your vehicle registration certificate for the vehicle listed on your Linkt account (can be accessed via www.qld.gov.au/getregocert).
    • Please note vehicle registration renewal notices are not accepted.

An eligible applicant and Linkt account can only receive one $100 credit over any given twelve-month period. Applicants in a share house arrangement or similar would need to demonstrate eligibility and have a separate eligible Linkt toll account.

If your application is approved by Brisbane City Council, Transurban will contact you via email, and let you know when your credit has been applied. Brisbane City Council will notify you if your application has been unsuccessful.

Please note, timings for approved applicants may take up to a few weeks however if you would like to follow up on your application, please contact Council directly on 3403 8888 and request to speak with a member of the team assessing the Go Between Bridge Toll Credit scheme applications.
