Government Request for Traffic CCTV Footage

Government organisations can use this form to request Traffic Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Footage.

CCTV footage is available for a maximum of 20 calendar days from the date of recording.

Individuals or other organisations (non-Government) can request Traffic CCTV Footage under the Right to Information Act 2009 by completing the Right to Information and Information Privacy Access Application.

There is also a separate process for requesting footage from Council’s ‘City Safe’ CCTV cameras that operate in and around the Queen Street and Fortitude Valley malls.

Information collected in this form will be handled in accordance with Council's Privacy Policy.

Queensland Police Officers must present a completed Field Property Receipt (FPR) on collection of CCTV images.

Response timeframe

Requests will be processed within five (5) business days and you will be contacted by phone or email when the footage is ready for collection.
